40th Anniversary Celebration
This year CP Cases are proud to celebrate 40 years as designers and manufacturers of hi-performance protective cases. Incorporated on 9th August 1971, through ingenuity, effort and remarkable knack CP Cases have become an international leader in customisation, logistics and rapid turnaround in producing protective cases.

CEO Peter Ross reflected on this by saying… ”Whilst we are immensely proud of reaching our 40th birthday, it is humbling to think that many of our members of staff and loyal customers have been with us for almost the whole of that time. We are honoured to have maintained such committed relationships through the turbulent times we’ve all travelled through, and genuinely believe that our prospects of growth and prosperity are based on our solid capabilities and skills – imbedded in our culture and dedicated staff.”

CP Cases has developed from a manufacturing pioneer of Professional Flight Cases to the touring Rock n Roll industry in the 1970’s to the international company they are today. Having started operations in West London with only 2 members of staff, CP Cases have grown steadily to over 75 members of staff in 2011. Over 40 years of product and business development, CP Cases now provide ruggedised transit and storage cases to the Energy & Marine, Medical & Scientific, Professional Media and Defence & Security sectors maintaining their loyal customer portfolio including such diverse clients as the MoD, BT Global, Nestle, Nikon, Johnson & Johnson and Sony Broadcast - to name but a few.

The design and manufacture of the high-performance, protective transit cases and racks developed by CP Cases has a 40 year long history. The company has been put to test across the board - from managing major production and manufacturing projects for the military to the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The engineers, designers and production teams at CP Cases tailor protective packaging designs specific to their customer needs - developing standard products s well as customised solutions and bespoke products under their (27,000 Ft2) manufacturing factory roof. Through economic recession and turbulent business markets CP Cases has continued to thrive, retaining its experienced staff and building long term relationships with its customers and suppliers.

CP Cases have garnered 40 years of experience and create high quality, bespoke transit solutions for the protection of delicate, sensitive and valuable equipment. Having invested heavily in new product development and manufacturing process technology, to bring to the market customer benefits such as effective and “on time” customisation, CP Cases clearly recognises the three key elements of success, Service & Delivery, Product design that is fit for purpose, and Cost effective manufacturing techniques, to remain competitive in an ever increasing competitive marketplace.

CP Cases won the contract in competitive tender last year and manufacture is now underway. “The building of these two mighty ships is a monumental engineering project and we’re very proud to be part of it” said Peter Ross, Managing Director of CP Cases.

“It is humbling to think that we’re part of a small elite group of engineering companies, which represent the crème de la crème of the UK’s finest manufacturers, and that the enclosures we design and build here in our factory, will play a mission critical role on-board these Royal Navy flagships. We are part of a truly national project, supporting local jobs and communities throughout the whole country, with thousands of people working towards the single goal of making these ships our national heritage”.

The first shipment of 400 enclosures have been despatched to central stores in Motherwell, for onward shipping to Rosyth where the first carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth is currently being assembled.
